CivicWell works with federal and state agencies, and philanthropic partners, to increase community resilience through targeted community investment. As partners to these agencies and funders, we administer innovative programs to build local capacity while providing technical assistance that helps transform local vision into action.
We have been key partners for impactful statewide and national programs including Transformative Climate Communities, Partners Advancing Climate Equity, Clean Mobility Options, US Department of Transportation Thriving Communities program, Justice40 Accelerator, and Greenlining the Block.
Funding Navigation Program
In 2017 we launched fundingresource.org, a navigation program that provides direct assistance and a roadmap to help local government and community leaders identify funding opportunities and develop competitive proposals. This funding platform and direct assistance platform supports local leaders in navigating the complex landscape of affordable housing, sustainable transportation, urban greening, and water resources management to identify viable funding sources best suited for their local needs.
Since the launch of the program, we have supported over 40 communities to apply for $138 million in funding, with $78 million awarded to date.
