The Local Government Sustainable Energy Coalition (LGSEC) has just published the 2022-2023 Policy Platform which was developed over the past 4 months led by its working group! The Policy Platform will inform and direct regulatory efforts and expected outcomes.

In this document LGSEC has outlined the top priorities and positions for the coming year as identified by its members. It will work with State regulatory agencies to implement these actions in order to realize a decentralized, decarbonized, reliable and affordable energy system.

The Local Government Sustainable Energy Coalition (LGSEC) is a statewide membership network representing local government interests related to clean energy and climate resilience at the state regulatory level. LGSEC has built the blueprint for California’s energy strategy through the formation of Local Government Partnerships, Regional Energy Networks, and Community Choice Aggregations. LGSEC is a coalition program of CivicWell.
